How to Add YouTube Videos to PowerPoint 2007 Presentations
If you already know How to Make a Good PowerPoint Presentation, then now is the time you make a Powerpoint presentation more interesting and not boring. One way is is to add Youtube Videos to your Powerpoint Presentation!
The first step is to make sure in your existing Powerpoint Developer tab (as shown in the figure below), if no, do not worry you can come up with way Click the round Office button in the upper left corner, then go to PowerPoint Options (bottom) , select Online and then check the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon!
After the Developer Tab in Ribbon Powerpoint, and click the Developer tab, then select Control More menu, in Windows that appears scroll down until you find and select Shockwave Flash Object. Note: If you do not have PowerPoint Shockwave Flash Object, then do not forget to first install the Shockwave Flash from Adobe - http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
Next is you live dragging the box from the size of the video that you want to show the presentation. Once the box to put Youtube videos made and is still selected, the next is click on the Properties menu in the Ribbon (near the More Options), then a window will appear as shown below:
To begin insert Youtube videos to Powerpoint presentation, you simply enter the URL of the Youtube Video Movie on the column, do not forget to modify slightly the address by removing the watch? with and add "/" after the letter v
Youtube video such as the address to be included are:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dY5itbK9Ai0
then input into a column Movie:
http://www.youtube.com/v/dY5itbK9Ai0
For other column settings can be left default!
Loop = False, that means Video Youtube only be run once (not repeatedly)
Playing = False, Youtube videos run manually, in accordance with your orders (with a mouse click for example)
How, easy is not it? Now you too can make a more interesting Powerpoint percentage thanks to the Video from Youtube!
